My Brothers,
Nowadays we are in a new era, the technologic one, when the communication, the INTERNET brings together people, companies, governments etc. This great vehicle, open to everyone has strengthened relationships and allowing our contacts with better comfort and with reduced time and costs.
We, Masons, could not avoid to follow this development phase of mankind, when the physical distance has not been a barrier anymore to live the fraternity with greater intensity.
The Masonry, as a progressive institution which is always seeking how to meet the society demands, should follow the most dynamic and modern way of communication, also because it is very practical.
Thus, proceeding to meet the goals established to our Grand Lodge, we are presenting our new Web Site, more interactive, which will be offered with the Portuguese language at the beginning, but in a medium term will also be available in English and Spanish.
We have often been saying that JOINED WE WILL BE STRONGER. The approximation through the web will certainly facilitate our relationships, our consciousness, making ourselves, effectively, more firm in the construction of the foundations to our descendants.
We are always open to suggestions and help, raising the maximum endeavor to transform the GRAND MASONIC LODGE OF THE STATE OF BAHIA as much a giant as the dimensions of our dreams.
Lets seek to occupy all the spaces that we should and could have in the present society. The Masonry, as far as I am concerned, should not keep limited only to our circle. It should expand through its projects, through its power to lead by their workers campaigns and other activities that can contribute to turn the world, mainly the one where we live, less socially heterogeneous and more just and perfect.
To everybody that have contributed and are executing this task-force we send our gratitude.
